Hair color services are customized and are the result of a collaborative consultation between the client and stylist. Because of this, refunds are limited to the following circumstances:
- A paid Color Consultation service must have been completed before the color service.
- During the consultation, the client must provide clear inspiration photos that accurately represent their desired result.
- The service performed must substantially differ from the agreed-upon plan established during the consultation.
- Before a refund is considered, The CurlSpa must determine that no reasonable corrective service or alternative solution is available to move the client closer to the agreed-upon result.

A refund will not be issued for:
- A change of mind after the service has been completed.
- Preference changes after leaving the studio.
- Concerns that can reasonably be addressed through a corrective color service, toner, color removal, gloss, or another professional solution.
- Situations where no prior color consultation was completed or inspiration photos were not provided.
