How is summer treating you? I hope you've been well. The last couple of days have been cooler but the sun and the heat is due to come back closer to the weekend. Here are some things to remember:
- The sun is a HEAT source so cover your hair up to protect from dryness and COLOR FADAGE.
- Wear your SPF....EVERYDAY.
- WA's air is dry. Twists and braids that keep the hair bound help with retaining moisture in the hair.
- Drink Water! Regular water. Ok a little lemon or lime is ok.
- Get suspicious new moles checked immediately

Vacation Days
I will be away from the salon August 25-28th. Tacoma Public School's first day is September 3rd so I suspect that the weekend prior will be pretty busy. Be sure to make your back to school haircut appointment early so that you look great for picture day and senior photos.
Introducing: Maintenace Subscriptions
Want to regulate your self-care appointments and your budget? Plan ahead with maintenance subscriptions. Choose a time duration to fill with whichever services you want or take a look at the service based options for men and women.
Subscriptions are going to work best for those who plan ahead or those who know they do better with a set it and forget it system. Money will be automatically deducted from your account and you are able to schedule your desired appointments as you wish.
Choose the length of time you would like to keep your subscriptions. A one time purchase is regular price (don't select that) however if you choose to keep your subscription for 3-12 months you'll receive your services at a 10-20% discount.

I am always so grateful when you send in your loved one's, it shows trust and value in what we do and how we do it. The CurlSpa had a 1 star review last month from someone who purchased a Groupon and couldn't get the day they wanted so they said my deal seemed like a scam. Yes, this person got a full refund from Groupon but that is irrelevant to someone who isn't emotionally mature enough to send an email and communicate.
If you haven't already would you please take a moment to share your experience on Google so we can push that bad one down. Google won't take it down but enough positive reviews can make it irrelevant. I'd really appreciate it.
