Hello Curlfriend!
I'm Ms. Ehrin welcome and thanks for taking the time to look around. I was born and raised here in the PNW, specifically Spanaway/Tacoma. I attended Clover Park Technical College for all of my training and I'm now teaching the nails and skin portion of the Cosmetology program.
Kinky curly hair is vastly misunderstood and under represented in the professional beauty world. Also many of my creative sisters and brothers don't have the best relationships with money.
My mission is to keep it simple. For myself, for you, in the salon, at school and at home. Simple. I enjoy teaching on these topics and seeing the light come on when a learner "gets it". Curly hair is fun and a great niche for building a business. I've attended many educational workshops over the years and understanding the market in your area is important when trying to build. Curly hair is everywhere and so is money, I'm here to help you slay both.
I focus on being excellent at the basics like a beginning and ending the service on time, an excellent shampoo bowl experience, individualized regime building, clear communications and consistent pricing.
Humans like consistency, they don't like change. They like to know what to expect and what's expected of them. If you are trying to build a business with human clients step #1 is be consistent in your business dealings as well as your styles.
