This month at The CurlSpa we are focusing on healthy DIY nail maintenance and understanding the professional nail industry as it is today. We didn't just arrive.
Nail polish is a quick and easy way to make yourself feel a little (or a lot) fancy and with spring approaching its a great way to begin sneaking in those brighter colors, pushing those winter blues away.
There are a LOT of people doing their own gel nails at home as a response to the "rising costs" of professional nail services. Nothing wrong with that as long as you are being mindful and using quality products from reputable manufactures.
The CurlSpa utilizes the brand Light Elegance which is both HEMA and TPO free. However, this is a PRO only line that you have to be licesned to purchase. If you are looking for a HEMA & TPO free DIY brand I recommend ATTAIN Cosmetics.
Natural nail health is often compromised for speed in your average nail shop. To understand why watch this documentary, NAILED IT as a young half vietnamese woman walks us through the history and cultural shifts that brought us to know the professional nail industry as we do today.
At the CurlSpa you can be sure your nail health is top of mind as your appointment is always given ample time to be completed thoroughly and with special attention to your unique concerns. We also offer IBX as a stand alone or add on nail strengthening service.

If there is a service you are looking for and you do not see it on my menu, I do not provide that service.
All availability is visible and the waitlist is only for the days I work (Thursday-Sunday). If the system is not letting you make an appointment please try refreshing your browser and adjusting your cookie settings.
Please watch this before you leave your house to come to your appointment in case you run into traffic. This is important as the salon is not visible from the street, you cannot call me and I stand by my late/no show policy.
